Property:
Sodium Tripolyphosphate STPP is white powder, it is easily soluble in water.   lt has salient chelating capacity to ions of Ca, Mg etc. it can soften the hard water to make suspension become into the clear solution,it has weak alkalinity but no corrosiveness.  It has different bulk density, i.e. low density 0.35-0.5g/cm3, medium density 0.51-0.65g/cm3 and high density 0.66-0.9g/cm3

Uses:
Mainly used as synthetic detergent ingredient, synergistic agent of soap, softening agent of industrial water, oil resistant agentof paper making,tanning agent for making leather.  An effective dispersion agent for suspension treatment of painting, kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate and drillingmud etc.

In food stuff industry:Used as quality improver in the process of canned food, fruit juice drinks, foodstuffs from milk or soybeans. it may tender the meat in canned ham and soften the skin of horse bean in canned horsebean.   lt may also serves as a softener or thickener in foodstuff industry.
