Seaweed extract fertilizer is derived from fresh sea kelp called alga (ascophyllum nodosum). It contains protein, auxin, gibberellin, alginic acid, amino acid, algal polysaccharides, sodium alginate, phenolic polymer compounds, quinone and polyphenols, mannitol, glycine betaine, plant growth regulating substances and multiple active enzyme etc. It is totally soluble in water, has remarkable functions in promoting cell division, anti-stress, anti-plant diseases and insect pests, increasing yield, regulating growth and improving soil condition and so on. It is suitable for all crop applications including field crops, potting soils, vegetable and flower gardens, orchards and turf grass.
